Very Large Opalescent Textured "Street Light" Pendant #P72803C: Early 20th century. I feel that this shade had to have been "created" at a glass factory that made functional street lamps due to the large size. It could have been an experimental residential model. This is the only one I have ever seen. The white glass surface has a wavy texture with a rich opalescent blue detail. Solid brass fixture. The total length is about 27" and the diameter is 16". The shade measures 24" L x 16" W.
The second set of photos show this shade with an original old brass fixture which is far more interesting than the ceiling mount in the first two photos. Total length 46". It has been rewired and is OK at up to 200 watts. (A3937) Price: $1895.00
