This turned wood Hudson River Floor Lamp
in the background is hand painted, circa 1920, with a modern paper mache shade. The shade has been varnished to match the colors in the base.
Gateway Guardian Floor Lamp #F112202A: A very handsome fellow with a very useful job. He will guard your doorway and light the hallway for your guests. Golden painted cast metal. Very heavy. He is 4.5' tall to the tip of his flame lamp with a base diameter of 9.75". (A3882) Price: $1785.00
I have many, many beautiful floor lamps. Some time I will snap a few photos to show you the fine selection. I am hesitant as it is near impossible to ship these old lamps safely. Please, do stop by the shop if you are in Orleans on the Cape. Dan.
Pictured below are some other interesting items in my shop. Enjoy.
Sculptured Iron and Amethyst Glass "Paper weight" #F121201A: Actually, this fine piece is one of four feet for something very elegant. If you have the other three feet than this is a must. If not, then it's a great paperweight which would look wonderful on a few vintage magazines on an antique desk! The detail if the iron shows a face and hair holding an amethyst glass ball. The glass has "seeds" or air bubbles. This "paperweight" is 5.75" in length and has a diameter of 4". Price:
Cast Iron Decorative Shield #X11203A: Old green patina. Very detailed. This, intricate in design, shield measures 24.5" x 17" and weighs about 25 pounds! I tried to show the very heavy duty loop on the back so that you may feel secure about hanging it. I also took a photo of the artists initials on the back. Price:
Mickey and Friends Vetromile Art Chair: Several photo requests of this art chair has prompted me to post them here. This is my favorite piece of Vetromile's work. Available.
