RARE, RARE, RARE Oak Branch Ceiling Mount with Rare Acid Cut Back Shades with Oak Leaf Design #CM122002A: If you are at all curious about this lamp then you should email me immediately as even here on Cape Cod in the winter, this lamp is causing quite a stir. This high quality bronze and brass lamp can either be used on the ceiling or wall. I prefer ceiling use as walking under it is like being in a magical forest! The three shades are absolutely perfect with the oak design. They are a golden oak in color. Size - 39" L X 16" W. Price: $7,885.00 Email Now! Additional information: This oak branch is the single most unusual old handmade lighting "sculpture" that I have owned and it is incredible...down to the threaded, removable acorns. Yes, the shades are old and (I believe original ). This has to be one-of-a-kind, hand made sculpture, custom made for a very special home. Purchased from a longtime supplier in the Newport, RI. area; which is the area from which he said the oak branch had been bought by him. I rewired it and replaced the missing mounting plates. By the way, the changed back plates is the reason for the lower then expected price. The 16" is the widest point of the fixture. The drop from the ceiling is ~4" to the limb, and ~10" to the lowest part of the lowest shade. The distance from the ceiling to the bronze oak leaves is ~4". The drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the lowest hanging shade is ~10". additionally, the fixture is held to the mounting plates by loops and darkened chain could be inserted to lengthen the distance between the mounting plates and the oak limb if one wished to do so. I can't stress enough how wonderfully executed this lighting sculpture really is. |
